In the autumn semester of 2021 I am running a course with the title Theoretical Linguistics meets Child Language on how theoretical linguistic considerations can account for the process of language acquisition. The main focus areas are Very Early Parameter Setting (de la Cruz-Pavía et al. 2021) and the role animacy plays in the acquisition of passive structures and control and raising constructions (Becker 2014). Relevant contributions are very welcome, preferably in the first half of the term.
