The Erasmus+ teaching mobility opportunity supports the lectures and seminars held by guest teachers in line with the partner institution's specific curriculum and the further building of professional relations with the partner institution, in particular the Erasmus+ curriculum development activities.
Erasmus+ teaching mobility for individuals is offered on the institutional level. So academic staff can apply at the sending institution for a scholarship to go abroad.
Academic staff who maintains an official status (employee or contractual) at a higher education institution in a Programme or Partner Country and has a citizenship (or official refugee or stateless status) of the eligible countries. If you work at a Programme Country, your institution must hold the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education and have a bilateral agreement (Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreements) valid for the academic year and the given academic field of the planned mobility. In case of Partner countries, your institution must sign an inter-institutional agreement with the receiving institution.
Between Programme countries, the teaching period can be minimum of 2 days and a maximum of 2 months. Between a Programme and a Partner country, the teaching period can be minimum of 5 days and maximum of 2 months. These timeframes do not include traveling days. Most higher education institutions support a 5-day teaching mobility with an 8-hour teaching activity, excluding traveling days. Institution-specific regulations may apply here.
If you choose to apply for an Erasmus+ grant Grant The Erasmus+ grant contributes to your expenses during the mobility, in terms of travel and subsistence. The grant amount may vary based on the traveling distance and the length of the mobility. You shall receive your grant before the mobility from your institution. You do not have to report your expenses in a detailed format.

Blended mobilities have a physical and a virtual element. Teaching staff can receive Erasmus+ grant for the physical part, for the period of traveling and teaching abroad. The virtual part can be realized before or after the period abroad, but the two part cannot overlap in time, and they must directly follow each other. The grant application and contracting process is the same as with the only physical mobilities.
