In autumn 2016, I had the opportunity to visit the University of Warsaw for the first time in the framework of Erasmus+ teaching mobility. In addition to delivering a series of courses on the topic „Regional Geography of Central Europe”, I also gave a special lecture to colleagues on more specialised topics and lectured at the Hungarian language department of the university. Following the visit, intensive contacts were established with both the Geography and Hungarian departments, and thanks to this, together with colleagues, we had the opportunity to publish a book edited by colleagues in Warsaw, under the title „New Geographies of the Globalized World”, published by Routledge. In 2017 and 2018 we organised a joint field trip to Southern Poland, where Hungarian and Polish students worked together, and in 2019 I had the opportunity to do fieldwork in the field, also with the help of Warsaw University and the Erasmus+ study grant.
